Satyaprem Ki Katha Movie Story
Satyaprem Ki Katha, Satyaprem alias Sattu (Karthik Aryan), a resident of Ahmedabad, comes from an ordinary middle class, Sattu, who has failed for the third time in his law studies, has only one desire to get married soon; meanwhile, while playing dandiya, he sees the story, The one whom Sattu falls in love with at first sight when he tells Katha about his marriage, she leaves from there citing that boyfriend.
A year later, when Sattu reaches Katha’s house after seeing Katha missing again on Dandiya Night, he sees that she has cut the nerves of her hands. Whom he saves, he takes him to the hospital. From here comes the twist in the story. After the class difference, Katha’s family wants Sattu to marry their daughter. However, in this marriage, there is no consent of Katha. Eventually, both of them get married. Why did Katha try to commit suicide? Katha married with Satya.

Satyaprem Ki Katha Direction
Director Sameer has taken over the direction of the film. His intention to give a strong message with a short story film is commendable, but the carelessness of the direction is also clearly visible. The weak side of this film is that the film is too long.
Director could have avoided using many such scenes and strange songs. The first half of this film seems very drawn out. As a result, there are many such special scenes where they cannot leave their impact properly due to weak screenplay. However, there are some shocking revelations during the first half, and the second half becomes curious for everyone. Here the second half avoids drowning the film. The issue on which the film comes after the interval acts as a shocking factor for the fans.
While you would have expected a light-hearted rom-com family drama, here, in the second half, it talks about women’s issues, which are often ignored. Despite being in a relationship, why is the woman’s ‘no’ not understood straightforwardly? With these issues, the film reaches its climax. In the film, Karthik’s character hitting a boy with a shoe is the high point of the entire film, which takes the emotions on a roller-coaster ride. Overall, film gives a social message, but for that, you will have to bear the first half.
